In the Room: Teaching Marketing Tools at The Bakery

Marketing can feel like a full-time job all by itself.

Between building a brand, managing social media, creating content, staying organized, and trying to show up consistently online, it is easy for business owners and content creators to feel overwhelmed.

That was the heart behind the class I taught at The Bakery.

I wanted to help entrepreneurs, creatives, and business owners understand that marketing does not have to feel so heavy when you have the right tools supporting your workflow.

As a member of The Bakery Cowork, it was truly an honor to be invited to teach a marketing class for such a driven community of women.

The Bakery is a multi-use coworking space located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. It is filled with entrepreneurs, small business owners, freelancers, and creatives who are building beautiful things — but like many business owners, they are also wearing a lot of hats.

So, I built the class around tools that could help simplify their day-to-day marketing.

The goal was not to overwhelm them with more platforms.

The goal was to show them how technology could help them stay organized, create faster, communicate better, and show up more consistently online.

During the class, I shared five of my favorite tools for streamlining your marketing process.

We talked about how to use Google Workspace to keep your business organized, from custom email and file storage to social media planning, meetings, and team collaboration.

We also covered tools like Otter AI for audio transcription, Jasper AI for getting past writer’s block, CapCut for editing short-form video, and Canva for designing almost anything your brand needs.

Each tool was selected with busy business owners in mind.

Because the right tools should help you save time, create with more confidence, and build systems that make marketing feel less chaotic.

Teaching this class was special because the room was filled with women who were ready to learn, ask questions, and apply the information to their own businesses.

Knowing my audience was made up of entrepreneurs, content creators, and business owners, I wanted the class to be practical and easy to follow.

Not just theory.

Not just trends.

But real tools they could use to further build their strategies online.
